Lily Graduates From Preschool

Time flies! Lily you have learned so much in such a short time. You know all of your letters and all of the sounds of the alphabet. You can count, name your shapes, and write your name. You love to sing and you sing your classroom "circle time" songs all of the time. You have been going to Foothills Child Development Center since you were about 8 months old. They have watched you grow up and I have been able to watch you grow up for a year and a half when these pictures were taken. You graduated from Foothills and now it was time for you to go to Big Girl School at Concrete Primary. A kindergartner you will be!! We are so proud of you sweet Lily!! You are so smart!!

LILY turns 5!!!

I can't believe that you have grown up so fast. You turned 5 years old and wanted to have a pool party for your birthday. The only problem is, your birthday is February 3rd and it was freezing outside. We decided to have your brithday party at the Pickens YMCA and you were in heaven. Tons of your friends came to your party and even your cousins came. Everyone swam and ate pizza and an iCarly cake. Your mom, dad, and I were all there! Here are some of the pictures from that fun day!

I love to take pictures and you love to have your pictures taken! especially with a digital camera so that you can see the image right away. On election day in 2008, you and I spent the day together because I did not have to work. We went out to lunch, went shopping, and had a photoshoot of you because I just could not resist those cute curls and that precious smile of yours!!!

The First Night...

The first night that I met Lily Warren Campbell was July 7th 2008 and I was so excited to meet the little girl that your daddy had told me all about!!! You were 3 1/2 years old and you burst through the kitchen door at your house and ran in to meet me. I was so surprised, but you were not shy, and you said... "My daddy and I are going to go to Applebees, do you want to go with us?" My heart melted and I knew that you and I were going to get along just fine. I rode in the back seat with you in your carseat and off to Applebees we went for a night full of chicken fingers and ketchup! You talked non-stop and I loved every second of it. Dinner was over and it was time for us to go home. I remember like it was yesterday, you wanted me to sit in the floor and play with you, so I had a great idea. Since there was a large open space, I taught you to play airplane by running and jumping into my arms and then I would lift you up and you would fly like an airplane. The first few times we did it, it worked great! Then something happened, you jumped up and popped me in the nose with your knee and broke my nose. I was crying you were crying and daddy was freaking out!!! I was totally fine and you gave me lots of hugs and kisses after it happened. So that is the story of the night that I met you for the first time.
